Matthew Santone
Principal Design Architect
Matthew is shaping how people work alongside AI agents, designing the interaction models and tooling behind Microsoft’s agentic Copilot experiences. His practice is AI-native by conviction: he prototypes with the same systems he designs, treating making as a primary mode of thinking. Before Microsoft, Matthew spent a decade at Austin-based product design firm argodesign, where he helped grow the practice from its infancy and focused on designing cognitive systems and the tools that make them approachable.
In his Change Makers session, Matthew tells the story of living through two technology floods, and why the question AI is forcing on him is coming for every industry in the room.
